It defines 7 types of company structure and details the structure of the company in terms of directors, shareholders and minimum levels of capital.

This is the simplest company structure in Qatar, it is composed of two or more Partners who have unlimited liability. The company name must reflect the names of the partners.
2. The joint venture
He is similar to simple association, but differs in that he has two levels of partner, joint partners and fiduciary partners.
3. The joint venture.

4. The corporation. (also known as a public limited company or a shareholding company of Qatar)
Under Qatar law, this type of company can be an open corporation or a closed corporation.
5. The limited partnership.
With a minimum share capital of 1,000,000 QR, this type of Qatari company has at least one Joint Partner and at least 4 shareholder partners. It is the most common structure used by international companies that do business in Qatar.
6. The limited liability company.
Widely similar to the limited company in the Qatar.
7. The holding company
With a minimum capital of 10,000,000 QR, this is the Qatari holding company that owns the 51% mentioned above.
